Crates: In our effort to cut down on the amount of boxes being used, we offer the option to have your order packaged in a re-usable wooden crate. The crates can be rented for a 1-time deposit of $10, after that, you can choose the crate-swap option with each order for free. We will bring your order packaged in a crate and take back the empty one for re-use. Our crates are hand made by a local handyman and are also available for purchase on our site.

Coolers are a great option for when you might not be home to receive your order. We can package up your order in a cooler with ice packs and leave it on your doorstep, or inside your garage or back yard, or pretty much anywhere you ask. It also comes in handy when going camping, fishing etc. Your cooler shows up at your door ready to go! $15 - one-time deposit, or swap out your empty cooler for free!
We believe in bringing our community together to create something great! We want to raise our 4 boys knowing what it's like to get back to our roots, get back to what life really means. It's the simple things, the great things that will make a difference in this over processed, mass produced world.
It's about teaching, growing and making what we need, and sharing it with others. Getting organic, wholesome ingredients into our homes is the first step. We want to make that a little easier for everyone and help our local farmers, gardeners and entrepreneurs at the same time.
At Kootenay Farm-To-Folk we believe in supporting local businesses and individuals. When you buy from us you are doing just that. Most of our products are from local farmers and artisans in the East and West Kootenays. This way we help our friends and neighbours and keep money in our local economy instead of in the pockets of multinational corporations. Our products are fresher, and tastier because they haven't been shipped across the world to get here. We have high standards. We only carry fruits and vegetables that are non-gmo, and organically grown. Our meat comes from farmers that truly care about the animals and do not use unnecessary drugs or growth hormones to raise them. We aim to make buying responsibly easier for everybody, a "one-stop-shop" for wholesome organic foods. Help us help the community we love, you'll be glad you did!
